Introduction Mental illness is becoming a public health crisis through-out the world. Within developing and developed countries there are many different reasons that mental health has caused issues in the countries being examined. Mental health is an issue that can affect anyone at any time in their life. Ones mental health can be affected by many things around a person or just through their own genetics. All people are born into their family situations which can be in a developed or developing country. People who have or develop a mental illness in their lifetime may be affected greatly based on who they are, where they grow up and even who they hang around with. While living in a developed country we are very lucky to have access to all the medical help that we need to succeed in life. Developing countries are not as fortunate due to the lack of funding and support that is put towards the medical field. Mental health is seen as an invisible illness throughout the world that can affect many people.
